Stage 1. Project initiation & research

  • Kicked off the project with a detailed exploration of drivers’ operational challenges and daily workflows.

  • Conducted comprehensive research to understand the needs and challenges faced by drivers in managing daily transportation tasks. This involved interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis to uncover key pain points such as inefficient trip management, lack of real-time passenger check-in systems, and limited tools for reporting incidents.

Stage 2. Ideation & conceptualization

Developed the app’s core functionality based on research insights, prioritizing features like scheduled trip management, starting/ending rides with a single tap, QR code boarding scans, and incident reporting. Created driver personas and journey maps to align the app’s design with real-world use cases. Conceptualized a seamless and intuitive user flow that reduces complexity and maximizes efficiency for drivers on the go.

Stage 3. Design execution

Designed wireframes and prototypes that encapsulated the app’s core features, ensuring a focus on usability and clarity. Created screens for viewing trip schedules, managing live trips, boarding passengers through QR scanning, and incident reporting. High-fidelity prototypes brought the app to life, highlighting a professional and user-friendly interface tailored to drivers’ unique requirements.

Stage 5. Implementation & launch support

Collaborated with developers to ensure the smooth transition from design to implementation. Provided detailed design documentation and support during the development phase, resolving challenges related to feature integration and user flows. Designed onboarding materials and tutorials to help drivers adopt the app effortlessly upon its launch.
